As a fitting backdrop to the talk, the Lawrence M. Solomon Collection of Mystery, Detective & Science-Fiction Literature will be on view (at auction November 10, 2015). The Forgers is a literary thriller set inside the rare book world. When a suspected forger is brutally murdered, his sister's lover–himself a notorious counterfeiter of the handwriting of literary greats–is caught in a web of truth and lies that puts his own life in jeopardy.
