In Their Own Write New Edition
Hello everyone!
Hope you are all well after this tough winter. It looks like Spring has sprung, albeit its still quite chilly up in Rhode Island, where I am ensconced for a few days to write.
I came up and got my new edition finished and
hopefully, it will be available soon.
In the meantime, I will try to post a preview of the cover image.

A Very 'Big' Man or my Mr. Big
I know, I know. My blog is long overdue.
I suppose I will have to create a flashback blog!
This past week, I was just going through my normal morning routine. I was checking my Facebook news feed.
Suddenly, I noticed a familiar name.
He was someone with whom I corresponded many years ago.
He is and was a very 'big' man. I will henceforth refer to him as Mr. Big. He's my Mr. Big.
I cannot divulge the name of this mystery man.
Suffice it to say, he is really BIG.
But, that did not deter me. It never has. If you don't ask for something you will surely not get it.
So, without further ado, I wrote him a private message.
To be honest, I hoped I'd get a reply but I was equally prepared not to receive one. Although, all I really asked for was an email addy and permission to contact.
Not only was Mr. Big 'BIG,' he was fast!
Within seconds, I received the email and the 'go ahead' to write. Wow! Mr. Big was also courteous and friendly.
I recall now, that he always had those qualities --kindness as well as professional accessibility. Very 'old-school.' The way it used to be in publishing and all the arts. That impressed me most.
Quickly, I cobbled together an email about our past encounter (via snail mail) and my present accomplishments (my print books and 'A Lennon Pastiche' iBook) and I sent it off.
Whoosh, went the email into the dark void of nowhere.
The usual doubts nagged at my psyche. Who was I kidding? Mr. Big had more important business than answering me.
But, what can I say?
Within hours, after I got home from the Animal Medical Center with my cat, Lucky, I received an email.
It was Mr. Big.
Woot!
Yes! He did want to take a look at my current project, "A Lennon Pastiche." Yes, yes, yes! I think I jumped up and down a few times in my apartment.
Vindication. If not victory.
Vindication for all those doubters in my life.
Not 'victory,' because nothing essentially had really happened. Yet.
Except that a certain very, very Mr. Big had consented to hear from me.
Perhaps, it was a small victory, as well. After all, how many people even get that kind of chance? (I never like to brag about myself but a little pat on my own back was long overdue).
Yes. I am gloating, I'll admit. Who wouldn't, after covering their walls for years with kind rejection slips?
In the next few hours, I was walking on air.
There was hope, again!
Stay tuned for my further adventures with Mr.
Big -- and for the rest of my flashback blogs!
I promise not to disappoint or bore you.
So far, this Lennon project has not only been 'a long and winding road' but quite a trip!
