Some of the gals over on Kirsten Lynn's Wild West blog were talking about the cover model for MAVERICK WILD so I thought I'd post the pictures I have of the actual cover shoot. I think it's rare for an author to get photos like this, but Harlequin was featured on 20/20 a few years ago and MAVERICK WILD was one of the cover shoots shown.




I missed the show but I was sent a link to their site that had photos and highlights. I wish I could remember the model's name!

The woman in this shot is the cover director--clearly the woman is a genius--and I'm thinking this must be close to the final shot because it's looking a whole lot like the finished product!

We're starting the New Year off with an addition to our family. My niece delivered the New Year Baby for our area! Her first baby, a bouncing baby boy, was born after midnight this morning. He's getting a big birthday welcome with news coverage on his first day :)

To celebrate their cyber release, I'll be giving away four ebooks, two to members on my Facebook Fan Page (just "like" the page to become a member and follow updates) and two to comment posters here on my news page.

Don't have a Kindle or Nook? Me neither, but both reading devices can be downloaded to your Mac or PC for FREE at the Amazon and B&N websites! They also have Apps available for reading ebooks on those newfangled phones ;-)  Check out their Nook and Kindle pages for links to the reading app downloads.

As for future releases, I'm working on a new western series with several books in the works, set around the expansion of a Montana mining camp. I apologize for the long delay and am really looking forward to sharing some "Finished the books!!" news...I'll keep you posted.
