It’s 2025, and My First YA Novel is Coming Soon…
I’m so excited to announce All Gowned Up, my first YA historical romance, a swoony and sweet Regency featuring a seamstress apprentice who’s searching for the family she’s never known and finds it…in the biggest way possible! I am so excited to share this book with everyone!

Happy Summer!
I hope you’re all having a great summer (and it’s not too hot in your part of the world!). It’s been a busy summer for me–edits, revisions, and writing, oh my! I have rereleased the HIGHLAND KNIGHTS books–I feel I’ve improved them, and it was so much fun going back into the world of those Highland Mercenaries, yum! And I’m super excited about my upcoming releases, A LADY’S RULES FOR RUIN, in which an English lady arranges her own ruination in a desperate attempt to be free of the marriage mart (it doesn’t turn out quite as simple as she planned–hahaha!) and the tentatively titled DUKES DIVE IN, an enemies to lovers story that sizzles off the page. Busy, busy, busy times, indeed… <3

It’s Out!
Finally…my first new release since 2017. It’s been a busy five years, full of kids, moving (twice!), Covid (I’m sure everyone relates!), and some family stuff. But I’m writing again and that feels…well, it feels fantastic, honestly.
I’m proud of The Duke’s Rules of Engagement. Inside, you’ll find a little more snark, a little more tongue-in-cheek humor, a little more fun than my previous books. I hope you pick it up, and you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Some matches are made in hell…
Joanna Porter loves being one of London’s hottest up-and-coming matchmakers. But her heavenly vocation is about to turn into a nuptial nightmare thanks to the Duke of Crestmont. He’s as handsome as he is insufferable and obsessed with all things proper. Matching him would cement Jo’s status as England’s greatest matchmaker. Except, of course, the impossible-to-please duke refuses all of her most eligible ladies…confirming his status as a complete and utter pain in her petticoats.
The Duke of Crestmont can’t believe he needs a matchmaker, let alone this spitfire of a woman whose kissable mouth and dancing, impertinent gray eyes tease him ruthlessly. But the people of his estate are counting on him to find a duchess. A proper lady with a flawless pedigree and immaculate deportment. So why can’t he stop himself from wanting his pert, lively matchmaker…instead of the perfect duchess?
Now the entire ton is watching as this determined, audacious matchmaker takes on the most powerful man in London in USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Haymore’s lively new Regency romp. And this show might just be the most outrageous one yet…

The Perils of Research
Here I am, innocently perusing ball gown fashions of 1823, and I come across this lovely quote…
A learned wife may be considered about as useless a member of society as a learned pig. Indeed, the latter may be looked upon as the less injurious of the two.
Ugh!
I hereby vow to have every hero in every story I write from now on put the highest value on learning & intelligence in their partners.
Sigh. Here’s the dress I was looking at, though…

One Scandalous Season
Coming This Fall 2021, my novella, His For Christmas, will be available in a holiday anthology, also featuring stories by Christina Britton, Elizabeth Hoyt, and Grace Burrowes.
His For Christmas
Lady Amelia Witherspoon simply must get home to her beloved family on Christmas Eve. So when a terrible storm threatens to leave her snowbound, she refuses to admit defeat-even if that means sharing a carriage with Evan Cameron, the last man she ever hoped to see…
Evan can’t fathom why his oldest friend is as icy to him as the winter wind. All he does know is that Amelia is still the loveliest, most tempting woman he’s ever laid eyes on. Their only option is to take refuge together at a nearby inn, sharing the one remaining room. Evan promises to be a gentleman…but it’s a promise neither of them wants him to keep.

Summer’s Over…
And fall is in the air! At least it is here in Southern California. The kids are back in school, and I’m getting down to some serious reading (and writing, too!). I had a release in the Highland Knights series in the summer, and there’s another one coming this fall! It’s HER WICKED HIGHLANDER, a novella in the series featuring the newest Highland Knight, Max, and my first Scottish heroine in the series, the headstrong (and very fun to write) Aila. This story was originally published in the USA Today bestselling anthology CAPTURED BY A CELTIC WARRIOR, and I’m so excited it’s now coming out as a standalone! Anyway, happy fall, everyone. Here’s to Pumpkin Spice Lattes and cooler weather!

Captured by a Celtic Warrior!
Captured by a Celtic Warrior is out today, and it is already on the bestseller lists at Amazon, iTunes, and Barnes & Noble. Kris Kennedy, Eliza Knight, Vonda Sinclair, and I are so thankful to all the readers who’ve bought the collection. If you haven’t gotten it yet, now is the time, because it’s only $0.99, and this weekend it’s going up to its regular price of $4.99.
What I really loved about working on Captured by a Celtic Warrior with Vonda, Kris, and Eliza, was the opportunity to work as a team in developing this collection. Writing is an isolating business, perfect for us introverts, but sometimes it’s inspiring to collaborate with others, and it certainly was in this case! I really loved how we worked together to hammer out the details of the King Richard Dagger, and how our stories follow it through the ages. It all starts with Kris’s story in 1193, then Eliza’s takes place in 1306, Vonda’s in 1619, and I end in the Regency period in 1816. The politics and lives of the times we’ve written about are vastly different, but in all of them, the human condition is the same. There is good and evil, life and death, and the King Richard Dagger threads them all together. I’m so proud of this collection–it was a blast to put together and I’m so excited about its release!
Here’s a list of the things I’m doing to celebrate the release:
