Born in 1970, she is a financial journalist and lives in Milan with her husband and three children. In September 2006 she started her blog nonsolomamma.com which is consistently among the top 100 most followed blogs in Italy. Her first book "Nonsolomamma", also translated into German, was published in 2008 and was an immediate success, contributing to the debate on women juggling family life and a career. She has writing a column on the "D" weekly magazine of the daily boradsheet "Repubblica" since February 2010, entitled «Appunti & divagazioni di una (non solo) mamma» (Notes and musings of a (not only)mum.
