Wee Hours with a Tired Writer
I’m sitting here, in the wee hours of a mild Thursday morning, the caffeine of an ’F#cking strong coffee’ gradually ebbing its way in to my bloodstream. I’ve been awake for maybe an hour, two even, and I immediately hunger to write. Food can wait.
But what? What to write? What to say?
I have a story to finish, too many at times, and some poetry loitering on my tongue. More importantly the second tale of my current series needs attention. It has been plotted, the first draft of the first two parts scribbled, and now I ponder how I traverse from points D and E through to H.
I am sure it will all come to me, however today I am impatient, and apparently easily distracted. Instead I have found myself writing this post, a first of a clean blog with no audience. I best mind what I say (he mutters winking to self in mirror).
Maybe a walk will help…
