New Release!

I'm so excited to share my newest book, Fake Me: Last Chance Beach Romance. This is the start of a new series within a multi-author romance line set in the small beach town of Last Chance Beach. My heroine wants to start a new matchmaking service for single parents and this is the first of the romances centered around her business: Singles Fest.

International real estate broker Grady O’Hara, unkempt, miserable, and nursing his battered heart, is holed up in the Landseer Motel in Last Chance Beach.

A first-class grump, Grady’s appalled that enthusiastic sprite, Farren Parks wants him to open his motel to single parents looking for love. He suspects his sister has sent Farren to lure him into a romance. Again. The last one ended in disaster.

Farren expects him to tolerate children laughing. No! Crowds of happy families? No!
He does not want a second chance at life. Or love.

Unless Farren agrees to fake date him to fake out his matchmaking sister…

Grady soon plays handyman, painter, and business advisor to Farren’s fledgling business, Singles Fest. The happy squeals of children in the pool doesn’t grate on his nerves as he expected. He sees parents making romantic connections that stir his heart.

But an old flame of Farren’s has arrived and Grady wakes up to another looming loss if Farren gives her first love a second chance. The rival has brought his adorable kids to the motel. A rival who’s clearly looking for a new wife…

I am definitely hoping people will read and review Fake Me...it's sweet, the language is gentle and the loving is behind closed doors.

Congratulations!

I'm excited to say that readers blew through my personal dream of 1000 Giveaway entrants. In total, 1127 Goodreads readers entered my Kindle Giveaway for The Winterland Waltz A Dickens Holiday Romance.

Here's a snippet of what they'll be reading:

Black Friday - Dickens
A flash of Christmas red outside his living room window caught Nathan Brent’s eye. He was painting the windowsill when he looked out to his front walk. A woman stood there, dressed in a red puffy jacket, black jeans, short, sexy, ankle-high boots. He set his paintbrush down on the edge of his paint tray and watched the woman he’d been waiting for walk up the paved path to his front steps. Through the grimy window he saw she was taller than average, with black hair and a jaw that could cut glass. Gorgeous.

She was dressed like a woman who understood how great she looked. A confident woman, a woman on her way up. But her posture, her manner, made a lie of her clothes.

Stupid to notice her turned down lips, the hunch of her shoulders, the way she hesitated at the foot of the steps. Don’t ask! Not your problem. Don’t even wonder.

Coop, his lawyer and one of his oldest friends, had warned him not to let a woman’s need touch him. Nathan had to learn he couldn’t save the world. Coop continually reminded him that since the inheritance, he had more to lose. Nathan waited to see what his potential tenant decided as she stood, looking forlorn, hesitant, beaten down.

Would she walk up the steps and ring his bell? Or give in to whatever it was that made her hesitate? Her choice.

My biggest thanks and congratulations to the winners! And a huge, huge thank you to all who entered.

This book is coming out on Dec 19, but you can pre-order so you're one of the first readers! The Winterland Waltz A Dickens Holiday Romance

Book Birthday!

That's right, The Winterland Waltz released today and I'm thrilled to end off my writing year with this book.

My heroine, Kayley explodes her life into smithereens and returns to her hometown to regroup and start fresh. That's the kind of thing women do when they learn they fell for a married man who lied and betrayed her and his family.

The worst possible man to get involved with would be another one with a wife stashed away somewhere.

And writing about the "worst possible" is how I roll.

But Nathan isn't your typical hero and certainly not "cheating" in the traditional sense.

None of that matters to his youthful Vegas mistake though...the "bride" who shows up looking to destroy his new relationship... or else. The Winterland Waltz A Dickens Holiday Romance
