EM Lynley writes gay erotic romance. She loves books where the hero gets the guy and the loving is 11 on a scale of 10. Her Precious Gems series is best described as “Indiana Jones meets Romancing the Stone”—only gayer. The Delectable series is Gay Romance with Taste.

A Rainbow Award winner and EPPIE finalist, EM has worked in high finance, high tech, and in the wine industry, though she'd rather be writing hot, romantic man-on-man action. She spent 10 years as an economist and financial analyst, including a year as a White House Staff Economist, but only because all the intern positions were filled. Tired of boring herself and others with dry business reports and articles, her creative muse is back and naughtier than ever. She has lived an

It's been such fun to revisit Trent and Reed and see how they've progressed since their return from Japan. They're so great together, and Reed starts to open up about himself in a way only Trent could bring out. Now if I could come up with a title, the book would be just about perfect. (less)

A couple of years ago, Brandilyn Carpenter asked me for my favorite places in the world. I can’t find the list right now (that would have been a miracle!) but I do know that you’d find Jaisalmer, India in one of the top spots.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively around the world and even luckier to have been able to set stories in many of my favorite places so I can share the joys (and

“Jeremy, when I first met you, you filled a void in my life—a physical need—in a fun and exciting way. But the more I spend time with you, especially like last night, where I can talk to you and get to know you, the more I realize you fill up the emptiness in my heart too.”

Tammy, the fourth book in the series is finished and turned in!
As for another book with a Trent-like character? Jay in Brand New Flavor has some of Trent's personality traits. He makes this amazing ice cream, but on the personal side he's not very sure of himself.

Evan Taylor in Out of the Gate is a little like Trent in that he is stronger than he thinks he is and he finds love in the most unlikely place.

Hope those suggestions help!

Hi Tammy! Thanks so much for asking. I'm working on Jaded, book 3, right now. We're hoping for October as a release date, with book 4 hopefully not too far behind. I hope to finish that one over the summer.

Oh my goodness! Working before work and after! Ok, you win! :)

New schedules are always hard. Just getting out of one habit and into another and getting your body adjusted to it takes some time. I'm in Florida, but we just moved from the northeast and we're so far west in FL that we're in central time zone now. I'm still waking up between 5:30-6am here instead of 6:30-7. Although, I've found that I can get a ton done in the mornings before my daughter wakes up, so I may just keep getting up at the crack of dawn!

Well, Friday is pretty much over now! Yay! Have a wonderful weekend!

That's a good thing to concentrate on! Only a few more hrs until your weekend can start! I'm a stay-at-home mom at the moment, so everyday is a work day. :D And I think I'm trying to get an award in procrastination this morning. I've made lists though, so that's progress, right?
