Big tings!
I'm excited to share that we've received the first review for my upcoming book, Alphabet Soup: A Memoir in Letters.
In the buildup to its release, I've been learning a great deal about the publishing process, and about how to market and promote a nonfiction book. It's quite unlike anything I did with my poetry work, and a vastly different experience from editing AfriCANthology. Each new project reveals new layers in the world of writing, and each lesson strengthens my resolve to keep creating, keep writing, keep publishing, and keep speaking up (and out).
