I am seeking several beta-readers for my new novel The Hauntings of Scott Remington.

Scott has a problem, being pursued by a madwoman trying to kill him (and usually succeeding) in life after life. In his present life he goes on a cruise where his dreams and memories begin in Mayan times long ago. But is one of the two women he meets on the cruise his stalker through time? Is it the one he falls in love with?

And what about the ten year old girl who is the daughter of one of the women? She seems familiar, particularly after he saves her life in a connote in Yucatan.

In addition to the general Goodreads Giveaway that I am running for this book, there will be a Giveaway just for the Time Travel Group (since this is a time travel novel), where I will give clues about an older time travel book so that eventually someone will be able to identify the book. The first two to guess the title will receive a paperback copy.

The paperback version is now available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

The House of the Last Man on Earth, a far-reaching science fiction novel, will be out soon. The design of the back cover is now being finalized, and the projected publication is early May.

In addition, the sequel to The Far Side of Silence, titled Yesterday's Tears, is now at the publisher undergoing final editing. Probably out nearer the end of the year.

After Death, edited by Eric Guignard, in which I have a short story entitled Beyond the Veil, won the Stoker (given by Horror Writers Association) anthology award for superior achievement. While Eric deserves most of the credit, it's nice to see a number of readers list my story as one of their favoites in the book. The Stocker award is a big deal for horror writers, though I don't really consider my story in that category. Stephen King's Doctor Sleep won in the Novel category.

It's interesting, and scary, how similar the events with Putin and Russia are to what happened in the background of our book, The Far Side of Silence, though it wasn't Putin in the book. Hopefully the rest of the book won't come true.
