Stan Morris was born in Lynwood, California, during the Stalin/Truman era. His family moved to Concord, California, at the beginning of Reagan Mania of which his family was a part. As a teenager his pivotal moment came as a result of the 1968 Martin Luther King, Jr. Tragedy/Triumph.

He was educated during his wandering phase, receiving his BS degree when he was 25 (despite the claims of some sycophants/critics who say it was at the moment of birth.)

He married a girl with alien roots, and subsequently she became pregnant and delivered The Boy With the Longest Name.
They had another child just after they retreated to Maui.

He now writes, gardens, watches way too many organized non-killing sporting events, and eats foods for which there is no Ang

Howard the Red

Howard the Red is now available at Amazon. It's been three years since I published Kathy's Recollections, a long time between books in this series. Next up is Douglas Lives.

Howard the Red is a more mature book with more mature themes. It explores new characters and one old character, Pete. In this book we learn how Pete was critical to Mike becoming "Chief."

Stan Morris

“I sit beside the fire and think
Of all that I have seen
Of meadow flowers and butterflies
In summers that have been

Of yellow leaves and gossamer
In autumns that there were
With morning mist and silver sun
And wind upon my hair

I sit beside the fire and think
Of how the world will be
When winter comes without a spring
That I shall ever see

For still there are so many things
That I have never seen
In every wood in every spring
There is a different green

I sit beside the fire and think
Of people long ago
And people that will see a world
That I shall never know

But all the while I sit and think
Of times there were before
I listen for returning feet
And voices at the door”

Hi Tammy,
I've been thinking about you. I finally finished Surviving the Fog-Kathy's Recollections. I'm in the process of editing it now. I had a lot of fun writing this book, and the discussions I had with you really inspired me. Thanks a lot. I forget where I was when I was sending you the chapters, but hopefully they are better now.

Tammy K. Useful Ways to Use Zombies was too funny Stan. Loved it!

L Dear Stan,
I would like to thank you for being my friend on Goodreads, which is a brilliant site where one is able to converse with so many likeminded people both authors and readers. I hope that at some point i will have chance to read your work, as it is a genre that i am very interested in. Also, i look forward to future book discussions and in 'the (not-so)Austen bookgroup' that i too am a member of.
Thanks once again,
Lucinda x
