Anna Maylett is a wife, a mother of eight, an author, and an Illustrator.
Anna loves to write Action/Adventure novels, and has also dabbled in a romcom.

Her favorite books include:
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
The Virginian by Owen Wister
Deerslayer by James Fenimore Cooper
The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
and classic fairytales

She enjoys gardening, going for long walks, and enjoying nature.
She has an old soul and sometimes thinks she was born in the wrong century (perhaps the 1800s would be better suited for her).

Out of my element

I will begin by saying that I love to write; it gives freedom to the imagination and allows my wandering mind an occupation. But there is so much more to being an author than just writing.

This book is half story, half whale information, as well as whaling information. I was expecting a huge climax at the end with Moby Dick and Captain Ahab, but was a but disappointed. Not a fan.
