A couple of months ago I sent my book, "Elysium and the Dominion's Prophesy," to Midwest Book Review hoping it would pass their criteria to be reviewed. I am pleased to announce that it did pass their criteria and received a five star review. The book is also listed on their MBR Bookwatch for October 2009. Below is the actual review:

Many writers will tell you that writing a book is easy, it's the marketing that's hard. This morning I found, much to my delight, that the marketing I've been doing is beginning to pay off. I discovered this morning that I have finally acquired an amazon sales ranking. It was under 270,000 and at last check it was under 300,000 so the number is fluctuating. But that is a very good ranking for a self-published book. Truth be told I've seen some commercially published books with rankings in the millions. I just wanted to take this moment to thank everyone who has supported my writing.

Hello fellow readers and writers! Well many of you are probably wondering about the progress I'm making on the second book in my Elysium series. Thus far I have about six chapters written. I intend to get busy writing more frequently. I'm afraid I have let the frustrations of my job search get in the way of my writing.
So starting today I intend to get back into my routine.
