I am a Sardinian-born, naturalized US citizen. Happily married 36+years with two marvelous sons.

I sold three science fiction short stories in the mid-90s and one historical fiction short story in 2013.

My nonfiction work-in-progress is a multi-volume history of Sardinia from Neolithic time through Renaissance. My fiction novels-in-progress take place at the Founding of Rome, at the birth of Rome's Republic, and during Hannibal's Invasion of Italy.

Day Two: Sardinia’s earliest rebellions = some of Rome’s “triumphs”

As mentioned in Day One’s brief account of Sardinia becoming a Roman province, the island was ceded by Carthage to Rome about the year 237 BC, three years after the peace treaty which ended the war between Carthage and Rome.

Rome first sent the consul of 238, T Sempronius Gracchus with a fleet and troops, to take formal possession
