But after some thought, I would have to say Morticia and Gomez Addams, as characterized by the 60s television series with Carolyn Jones and John Astin.

The reasons I chose them? They are devoted parents who are still passionately in love with each other, something they demonstrate often. They are committed to one another, and there has never been a hint of boredom, infidelity or cruelty in their years together. They embrace what makes the other unique, and champion both the dark and the light within their mate... Of course, this being the Addamses, there's more dark than light, but I would trust their marriage to endure long after more conventional fairy tale romances have dissipated and waned.(less)

My guest this week is Michael Lea. I met Michael when he was editing POW!erful Tales for Peryton Publishing.  Michael not only edited the book, he stitched all the stories together with an overarching narrative (including my story, "Legacy").

As often happens, we found ourselves in some of the same anthologies, including "The Book of Exodi Read more of this blog post »
