Catherine's first novel Rosetta Stones won the New Mexico Book Award's 2009 "Best First Book" award and the Moonbeam Children's 2009 bronze medal award in young adult fiction. She was also a finalist in the New Mexico Book Award's young adult fiction category.

Catherine earned her Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University in 1996. During the day she works with the finest farmers and ranchers of Colorado as a resource soil scientist. At night she writes.

So I didn't put the YES in yesterday

Those of you who know me well know that yesterday was a monstrously important day in my life for at least two reasons, maybe three.
