Tod Foley is a writer, editor, game designer & interactive artist, curator of the UbiquiCity project and other literary series as the founder of As If Books.

He's also the author of numerous roleplaying games including CORE (2019), Other Borders (2016), DayTrippers (2015), Watch the World Die (2014), and CyberSpace (1989). He produced the award-winning online "World of South Park" for Comedy Central, designed the award-winning "Ocean Explorer" for Times-Mirror Magazines, authored and produced the theatrical LARP "Ghosts In the Machine" (CyberArts International, 1992), and edited a tiny but nationally-distributed magazine called PIX-elation (1993-1996).

Tod Foley I'm currently writing, curating and editing two books on "UbiquiCity," an ambitious crossover project including both a GM's Sourcebook and an antholog…moreI'm currently writing, curating and editing two books on "UbiquiCity," an ambitious crossover project including both a GM's Sourcebook and an anthology of original fiction set in the same world. The system-neutral sourcebook for science fiction roleplaying games will allow gamemasters to take their players into the world of the book, pursuing their own stories in a rich and dynamic environment.

This collaboratively-designed setting weaves the imagination of ten writers into a multi-layered depiction of a foreseeable future, and raises questions about consciousness, reality, and what it means to be human. The anthology features short stories and prose by Niko Carcosa, Antony Copeland, Tod Davies, DeAnna Knippling, SL Koch, Shariann Lewitt, Kira Magrann, Adrian McCauley, T Reynolds, and myself.

A Patreon exists for anyone who wishes to help support the UbiquiCity project. Patrons get a look behind the scenes as the project develops, and higher level patrons will receive free copies of the sourcebook.
