I understand GoodReads is having a hissy fit over its most recent software update. None of us like change, buddy, so I feel you.

I posted an excerpt from False Start on my LiveJournal blog, and since GR declined to import it, here's the link if you'd like a little taste of the upcoming novella:

It all started on the first day of my senior year at Caswell College in Danesboro, North Carolina, home of the Wildcats, when I first laid eyes on Whit.
