I have always loved to write but it was never something I did for public consumption. During the dark times of covid, I started to write a story that I had started to write years ago and never finished. My best friend asked me to read it and thus started me writing the books I have.

The story was so slow-paced that it took me forever to finish reading it. It felt like there was too much filler dragging the story out. And not enough about what was really going on in the story.

I rated this 3.5 stars. I realize this is only book 1, but it was confusing going back and forth between characters with no clear connection until the end of the book. It also left a lot of questions I hope are answered in book 2.
