Please ignore titles - how to delete?
A Thiefs Magic and Horrific History are no longer available. Both stories will be included in the new book being edited "Misadventures in Death & Friendship". Both had been first person, and will read much better in this new third person novel.
Does anyone know how to delete these?

Ignore what I just said!
I can't find a way to delete past postings. You'll note that it appears I have several new books coming out. ALL, and I do mean ALL, contracts I have been offered in the past four years have been voided or cancelled, for various reasons. They'll all been crap! Believe me, if they were good, I'd have had more books published by now. Still working on it. See my website for more information. Tons more information there.

Journal of an Undead
Musa Publishing has just offered me a contract for my vrykolakas novel, "Journal of an Undead." Has anyone ever had any experiences with them? This is involving a character I've been working on for a long time and I don't want to do the wrong thing. I have turned contracts down for him in the past. Boy, that contract looks good!

Looking for a new kind of vampire?
Arabus Drake is a Greek vampire - a vrykolakas - and he's featured in public for the first at Amazon in the tale, "A Thief's Magic." I'm heading to find his readership so that I can get a full novel of his tales published. It's only 99 cents for a 34 page unusual read - and I'll buy it for you if you agree in advance to review it.

Read a new Vrykolakas
I've published a short story (34 pages) - a modern version of a historic vampire - called "A Thief's Magic," at Amazon. I'm looking for someone to review it in exchange for a free copy. Please contact me!
Arabus Drake is a Greek vampire and I have a novel that I've been trying to get published. I'm using this short story as a kind of test market to see if he can gain any kind of following.
There is one rating now of 5-star. I don't know who gave it that, but it's very encouraging.
For 99 cents, I can guarantee your time won't be wasted!

Mystic Fire - controversial?
I created this novel to be a saga of the Civil War in the year 1862. The controversy - Lincoln wanting to send blacks away to other countries because he didn't know what to do with all the freed slaves and didn't believe that blacks and whites could learn to live together.
But in creating this novel, did I make it too controversial? A relative of mine noted that she couldn't finish it. I feel really bad about that. There is an element of great shock in the first five chapters that needed to be there because of how I had to get Adam away from the ranch for his abduction. In the abduction, though, in order to save his life, I had to convince the slavers that he was a muley slave.
Have I gone too far? Or have I been able to carry it off? You decide, and let me know.
I had another reader incensed that I had the Cartwrights going for supplies more often to Carson City, rather than Virginia City. I wanted to include Carson City more, for the most logical reason that it is closer to Lake Tahoe. We have to remember that the TV series shows them in one activity per week. If they were a real family, they would be doing a lot more than what's shown!
Mystic Fire was published in 2009 and has yet to find its audience. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
