How fun! I love your comments, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Believe me, I wanted to toss Cracker too :) But he has some growing to do... By the way, that incident was inspired by a real plane from the 306th BG that ditched just offshore - weighted down with booze! It was too funny not to play with. Ella Rose wrote: "Yay! Thanks for being my goodreads friend! I'm reading "A Distant Melody," and I LOVE it!! (First of your books I've ever read).I've been posting my thoughts as I progress. I think you would enjoy..."
Actually I didn't post them - someone else did :) I came home from vacation, and there they were! She posted them on her page, and because I was "tagged," they show up here too.
You're welcome. And yes, I'm loving A Distant Melody so far! Can't wait for A Memory Between Us!I'm glad to see you gave Rain Song and Chasing Lilacs 5 stars, 2 books I've very much been looking forward to reading. Why do I accumulate these so fast and then can never keep up?!
Melissa wrote: "Just finished A Distant Melody...I LOVED it!! Looking forward to Jack and Ray's stories. Hoping Ray might end up with Helen? =)"Thanks, Melissa! As for Ray and Helen, you'll have to read Book 3. However, I will tell you Ray and Helen are the hero and heroine. Whether or not they end up together... :)
Just finished A Distant Melody...I LOVED it!! Looking forward to Jack and Ray's stories. Hoping Ray might end up with Helen? =)
Margaret wrote: "Is A Memory Between Us about Jack and Deborah? Just looking at the cover, I notice the mustache. Oh, I'd love to read about her witty humor matching his own!"Jack and Ruth, and it was a blast to write - their banter just flowed. All I did was transcribe it :) I'm going through the galleys right now, so we're right on schedule.
Is A Memory Between Us about Jack and Deborah? Just looking at the cover, I notice the mustache. Oh, I'd love to read about her witty humor matching his own!
