K. Moore lives on the Sunshine Coast, Australia and can be found often wandering its foreshore and beaches with her Karelian bear dog named Hathor. She’s an avid reader, hiker, and CrossFit enthusiast. If you manage to locate a decent bottle of gin and a chair at the bar, she might be convinced to regale you with tales of her global travels. Without the gin, you’ll have to find the evidence within the pages of her stories and poetry.

I was drinking coffee with a group of moms after dropping the kids off at school, listening to one of them retell her experience at Carrefour the evening before. She had lost her daughter in the aisles. She said she was frantic, yelling and running up and down the aisles in the store, searching for her. Her daughter had wandered off and was being led to the security desk by a South Asian couple when the mother finally found her. That one story sparked an idea, questioning what would’ve happened if she’d been abducted. How would such an incident play out within a culturally rich and diverse environment? Also, who would abduct a pretty little girl and for what reason? But I suppose most intriguing would be how something like this would affect the mother and the family dynamics, given where this incident occurred. So, what resulted is Jen’s story. Her journey is fiction, closely interwoven with varying truths.(less)

The psychological suspense that's taking up most of my thoughts and writing time at the moment is flowing from my fingers. Like Desert Rose, it's a lot of truth and reality mixed in with a bit of fiction. So far my alpha reader has been loving it, although the subject matter is something a bit difficult to swallow.

Am I being vague enough?

These should all be completed by the end of 2019 ... so stay tuned.(less)
