male/male romances you must read
I just worked my way through one of *those* lists here on GR. You know the ones...infinitely long, to the point of taunting you about all the amazing books in our genre that you've *not* read.
Honest to God, there are almost a thousand titles on that particular list. You know what my takeaway was? That I need to read even *more* broadly in our m/m genre. So many books were on that list that I haven't read, even as there were many that I have loved. But the main thing? I felt proud. Proud that as authors in this m/m genre, we write so many varied novels...
I just clicked through that list and felt a little bit of amazement that since I first published BOYS OF SUMMER almost six years ago, the genre has exploded. I am SO humbled to be part of the explosion of the m/m community. Really This is a dopey post, but it's Christmas night, and I'm feeling very grateful for so many friends, readers, reviewer and fellow authors. So I *get to be* dopey tonight. Thanks to all of you. :)
