Gregory Gerard's work has been published by Tiny Lights, Lake Affect, and Jonathan. He teaches writing part-time at Writers & Books, Rochesters adult literary center, and has been a guest instructor at the University of Rochester's Scholars Creative Writing Program.

His memoir, IN JUPITER'S SHADOW, chronicles a religious boy's struggle with forbidden attraction. His most recent memoir, MY GRANDFATHER'S CLOCKS, tracks his mid-life quest to locate an artisan clock collection, missing for almost seventy years.

Allison lives in Rochester, New York, with his husband of twenty-four years. Most recently, he serves as editor of THE BIG BRICK REVIEW, an online narrative nonfiction journal.
