Mircea a absolvit Facultatea de Științe Politice a Universității din București ca la finalul ei să realizeze că ce își dorește în viață este să scrie cărți. Ulterior, a decis că cel mai bun lucru ar fi să-și termine studiile în străinătate așa că a absolvit un master în Project Management în cadrul Nottingham Trent University pentru a-și reconfigura traseul profesional spre IT și a-și putea investi weekend-urile și după-amiezile după munca la birou și mersul în metrou pentru romanele sale.
