My horror novel for adults with a child protagonist you will never forget will be released very soon. THE DIM was written with Denise A. Agnew, my screenwriting partner, and is based on a story I wrote years ago called BORDERLANDS, inspired by the Metallica song ENTER SANDMAN.
A few weeks after that I am releasing FREAK, a paranormal thriller/romance that I wrote over the last several years. So excited!!!

AND THEN...I will be focusing on two book series...more to come on those, but suffice it to say, they will be AWESOME!!!!!

Just in time for the holidays, I rewrote and re-released the story based upon my son's real life spy group he started in grade school when he was being bullied. It's called BULLIES BEWARE, EKHO IS HERE! and is one of many novels for adults and kids I'll be releasing over the next few years as I move from non-fiction back to my first love - fiction!

So excited that my Natural Health and Well-being manual is releasing in May of this year. It's a powerful and comprehensive guide to taking good care of all aspects of your health!!! It is available for pre-order.

I also have a book in the works about the science, beliefs, and traditions surrounding THE AFTERLIFE. What a great subject for debate and discussion as we all have a fear of, or curiosity of, what comes after death.

Let's make this a great year!

2015 is going to be an insane year for me, with at least four books being released! I have non-fiction, fiction and who knows what else will come down the pike before this year is out! So far, look for "MIND WARS," a non-fiction book about mind control and electronic surveillance written with Larry Flaxman; "EKHO 2," the second book in my middle grade fiction trilogy, written with my son, Max; "BLACK MARIAH," a sci fi dystopic novel for adults; and "GRIDWALKERS," a sci fi/paranormal thriller written with Larry Flaxman. Other deals are pending, so I plan to be busy straight through the end of 2014. But that's what writers do…we write!

Wow, my middle grade series began this month with the release of EKHO, written with my young son, about his spy agency he formed when he was being bullied. This summer, my very first YA series will debut. FREAK is a paranormal thriller romance about a very unusual young man and the forces that want him stopped…and one brave young woman who dared to get close to him. It's a project I actually began years ago as part of NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, which is every November and highly recommended. I loved taking part in NaNo and it left me with the core of FREAK, which, with the help of my manager, Italia Gandolfo, I rewrote and changed into the story it is today. FREAK is my TWILIGHT, my HARRY POTTER…which simply means that is is the series I hope will define me in the YA field. I am just glad I finished it, because many manuscripts get shoved in desk drawers never to be heard of again. I never gave up on FREAK, and am so excited that it will see the light of day in a few months!

My new middle grade fiction series, EKHO: EVIL KID HUNTING ORGANIZATION, is going to be released in February of 2014. The story behind EKHO is a true one. When my son Max was being bullied in grade school, I found out that he had formed a very sophisticated spy organization with friends and other bullied kids, that used technology and spy gear to keep an eye on the bullies and stay one step ahead of them. My son was the head of EKHO and the brains behind it, and when he finally showed me what EKHO was all about, I was shocked by the sophistication of his group. He had created different levels of ranking for the "agents" and recruits, had daily missions for them to agree to, had SKYPE meetings with his core group, constructed a website with videos and assignments, and even a mirror website to fool the bullies with. Soon, EKHO was all the rage and the bullies formed DEKE, DESTROY EKHO KIDS EVERYWHERE. Things got real. My son became a school hero and the bullying stopped. It was a creative and resourceful way for him to deal with being bullied and teased because of a physical disability, but it also allowed him and his EKHO agents to find a way to empower themselves and belong…When Max and I set out to write the trilogy, we decided to add on some cool sci fi elements that will be revealed over the course of Book Two and Book Three, but the actual story of EKHO is real, and I am so proud of my kid!

3 Gates of the Dead by Jonathan Ryan

If a book can't grab me in ten pages, I have no choice but to give up on it. Jonathan Ryan's '3 Gates Of the Dead' not only grabbed me within the first few pages, but wouldn't let me go as I found myself
falling under the spell of this supernatural story of a minister named Aidan who loses his faith after a series of personal tragedies that leave him empty inside and
wondering of the existence of God. But soon Aidan is drawn into a paranormal mystery that forces him to question everything he knows, and keeps the reader
breathless in anticipation of where that mystery will take him as it draws to a deadly climax. I love a good scary read, but Ryan's '3 Gates' goes beyond just being scary. It has depth, emotion, chills,
intelligence, and a character we have such compassion for right out of the gate. I look forward with delicious anticipation to the second book in the trilogy.
