So, yes. Paris is, in fact, a great place to hang out for a while. I realize that almost everyone else on the planet already knew that, but hey, better late than never, right? Go before the tourist season starts, stay outside the really touristy areas, but on a metro line, and you're golden. Does it count as a writers conference if you meet with and hang out with some other writers? Sure, why not?
