I was born in Chicago and when I turned 18, I joined the Marines; I’ve been dealing with the dicey vicissitudes of life ever since. After my hitch, I left the Corps and went to college and law school on the G.I Bill, the Servicemen’s Readjustment Act, signed into law in 1944 just weeks after D-Day. Not the typical route to an education, you might say. Federal government socialism was my ticket to ride thanks to FDR. Darn those democrats playing loose and easy with our money!

I love to read, which is a blessed by-product of a Catholic grammar school education. My first novel Be White With Me is 75-25% auto fiction. My thriller second novel Duped In America is 100% fiction. Kirkus Reviews described it as propulsive. “A powerful, humane novel t ...more
