It’s time to come back to some things we gave up on and others that have been forgotten or put off for too long.

Praying Your Way Through

When Daniel found out that the document had been signed to send anyone who prayed to any God other than the king to the lions den, he did as he had always done.. He went to his house and kneeled upon his knees and prayed and gave thanks before his God as he had always done. (Daniel 6:10) Daniel shows us that God will fight for us no matter the circumstances or how bad the situation may seem. He teaches us to remain consistent, steadfast and always abounding in the work of the Lord! (1 Corinthians 15:58) Daniel did not have to approach those who had gathered and consulted to come against him. All he had to do was give it to God! Daniel also did not hide or change his approach because of what they had planned and set forth. The word tells us that his windows were open in his chambers toward Jerusalem! He showed no fear. No worry. And no concern! When they saw him praying, he was thrown into the lions den. It was the king who made it official, but it was also the king whose heart God changed! He felt remorse and fasted all night that Daniels God would save him! (Daniel 6:18) Our God has the power to turn the hearts of those who are against you.. toward you! Sometimes the best way to fight is to stay the course, work your strategy, and trust that God has your 6… or in other words, God sees what you cannot, and he will handle it! I believe we have become so used to fighting hard that we no longer know how to fight wise. The word tells us that we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) This is why we are commanded to STAND therefore with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the word of God. (Ephesians 6:14-17) Praying always with prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching with all perseverance and supplication for ALL saints (not just the perfect ones, but even those with flaws and those dealing with spirits, issues, etc in their lives…) (Ephesians 6:18) When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19) The enemy is ready for us to come out of the gate arms swinging, but he’s not ready for us to come out of the gate with our knees kneeling. It’s time we learn how to TRULY fight in the spirit! #DontStopPraying #KeepTrustingGod

Thank You For Your Support

I pray that you had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying this holiday season. I could not allow the year to end without taking the time to thank you for everything that you did in 2019 that helped KM Davis Ministries walk out the call that God has given us. Whether it was through our local ministry initiatives in the DFW area or providing hope to the thousands who connect with our ministry from around the world, because of your faithfulness we can truly say that lives were changed for the glory of God. This year we hosted our Monthly Manna prayer breakfast for over 50 participants throughout the year. This monthly prayer breakfast allowed an opportunity for individuals both male and female to come and dwell in the presence of God with no distractions. There were prophecies, impartations and the inhabitation of the Holy Spirit each month! Following the time of prayer and Word from the Lord, we took the time to break bread together and fellowship. This was truly a blessing and we will be continuing next year.At the beginning of the year, we hosted a 3 night revival on the Gulf Coast, where souls were saved and bodies were healed. God truly moved each night during that service! The Lord ministered to both the adults and the teenagers. There was a shifting in the atmosphere. To God be the Glory! We also launched Beyond The Veil: Vision and Prayer Retreat for the first and second time this year. God showed up both times and on this last time, he decided to show out! I was simply amazed by His glory and the way that He spoke into the lives of all that participated. Everyone that attended will be forever changed. Early Registration for 2020 is open now.We started our weekly bible study meetings at the beginning of the year, Transformation Tuesdays, and now God has completely shifted it into a new series and training that will begin in January 2020. Be on the lookout for updates about classes that will be offered throughout the year.God also blessed us to begin production on our new Christian Lifestyle program: Living Purpose™. The show will begin to be aired in 2020 online via social media outlets and an online Christian Network, so stay tuned for more details! If you are in the DFW area or know someone who is, we are looking for volunteers to help with production currently 2x’s per month. And if all of that wasn’t enough, the greatest blessing was how God allowed over 25 individuals to deepen their faith, further their Christian walk or know Christ through our ministry! I realize that we did not do any of this alone and without your help, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for serving. Thank you for giving time, finances, expertise, talent, etc.. At the beginning of 2019, God told me to build the ministry, and I am so grateful that you came along to help. While to some this list may seem small, but for us it is big! 2019 showed us what God can do when we heed to His voice and move according to His will. This is only the beginning. There are many things in store for 2020 and with your help, we will be able to do more. We will be launching our first prayer conference and revival and beginning our five fold ministry training school. Our ministry has an international call, and we are rounding up the troops to meet it. In 2020 we plan to launch new programs that will be geared and focused on not only building and equipping the called, but also those programs that will reach the lost. Many of our programs will be offered digitally in 2020 and some we will meet in person. Wherever God sends us, we will go!Now as we near the end of 2019, will you prayerfully consider partnering with us by making a special year-end contribution to KM Davis Ministries? As we grow our ministry, we are asking for 100 individuals who would be willing to partner with us on a monthly basis. Your giving will help us continue to impact the lives of people in our community, and around the world. Partner with KM Davis Ministries Today! In the meantime I will be praying for you and your family. I pray that God begins to open doors that you thought were shut and He closes the ones that were too hard for you to do alone in 2019. I pray that your harvest is plenty in 2020 and that you will eat the fruit of your labor. Partner with KM Davis Ministries With Love and Gratitude,KM Johnson DavisP.S. We have not yet received our 501(c)3 status as of 2019. But please do not let that stop you from contributing this year.

Daniel Fast: Day 21

“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry…. Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.”Luke 4:1-2, 14-15, NIV Fasting and prayer are essential to receiving a clear vision of God’s specific path for our lives. Many times after a season of prayer and fasting we have more defined understanding of the part we play in the body of Christ, as well as a greater sense of our particular spiritual giftings (1 Corinthians 12). We learn a lot from observing the circumstances surrounding the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry (Luke 4). Notice that He went into the desert “full of the Holy Spirit.” However, He returned to Galilee “in the power of the Holy Spirit.” Being full of the Spirit is to know God and His character; walking in the power of the Spirit is when we know that we have the God-given strength and authority in our lives to walk out His will. The power of the Spirit is essential for us to accomplish the assignment God has for us. God could be leading you to fast so that you can receive His specific instructions for your life. He will equip you not just to know Him but to walk in His power to accomplish what He has called you to do. That’s exciting! “A man can no more take in a supply of grace for the future than he can eat enough today to last him for the next six months, or take sufficient air into his lungs at once to sustain life for a week to come. We must draw upon God’s boundless stores of grace from day to day, as we need it.”D.L. Moody Bible Reading Plan: Luke 15 Prayer Focus: Are there areas of your life that need more clarity? Are you walking in the power of the Spirit and living in God’s purpose for your life? Write down those things God is speaking to you. As you conclude your fast, pray that God continually reveals His purpose and gives you ever-increasing clarity and strength to walk it out. Daniel Fast: Day 20

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the new wine would burst the wineskins, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wineskins.”Luke 5:37-38, NLT Two things that do not mix are new wine and old wineskins. The reason is simple: old wineskins cannot grow and stretch to hold the new wine. The new wine God wants to fill you with is a picture of God’s Spirit, and this wine is expansive. A container that is dead, dry, stiff, and shrinking cannot be trusted as a storehouse for God’s valued treasure. Our vessels must be prepared for fresh, dynamic, living presence of God, because everything we do will flow from that. This preparation comes through prayer and fasting, during which we produce a container that is ready for the new thing God wants to do. God’s new wine always changes us by expanding our faith, enlarging our purpose, and bringing renewed vision. God is not into old wineskins; it is up to us to shed them. As we seek Him in this season, let’s shed the old wineskin and ask God to fully prepare our hearts for what’s to come. “God became man to turn creatures into sons; not simply to produce better men of the old kind but to produce a new kind of man.”C.S. Lewis Bible Reading Plan: Psalms 8-9 Prayer Focus: What has caused you to shrink back in your expectation of what God wants to do in your life? Are you ready to be expanded beyond recognition? That’s what God’s new wine will do in and through you. Pray that the Lord will expand your life to glorify Him, giving you boldness to step out and be used by Him. This excerpt was taken from “Awakening: A new approach to faith, fasting, and spiritual freedom. 21 days to revolutionize your relationship with God.” by Stovall Weems.  It can be purchased on Amazon.

Daniel Fast: Day 19

“Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all of the surrounding region.”Luke 4:14 After praying and fasting for forty days, Jesus returned to Galilee empowered to do all the Father had called Him to do. Jesus was so powerful in public, because He was so prayerful in private. To accomplish the assignments God has for our lives, we also need the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through us. God does not expect us to go through the challenges of life without this power. Prayer and fasting brings us to the place where we can power up. Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit is living with a comprehension of the God-given strength and authority in our lives to walk out His will. Through prayer and fasting, God can prepare us for what lies ahead. We might not know what obstacles we’re going to face, but we can know that God will be faithful to us. He will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5) and He will empower us to meet whatever challenges life may bring. “Every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure.”D.L. moody Bible Reading Plan: Luke 14 Prayer Focus: Today as you worship God in prayer, Let Him know that you refuse to go into the future without His power and that you want all the spiritual resources He has for you. This excerpt was taken from “Awakening: A new approach to faith, fasting, and spiritual freedom. 21 days to revolutionize your relationship with God.” by Stovall Weems.  It can be purchased on Amazon.

Daniel Fast: Day 18

“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”Philippians 4:6-7, MSG Worry seems inescapable in modern life. No doubt there is plenty to worry about: our kids, the economy, global warming, war, disease… Sometimes it might seem that worry has replaced Jesus as the focal point of our lives. Jesus Himself admonished us several times not to worry. And the Apostle Paul told us that there is an antidote to worry…prayer. When we worry about something, we are spending energy on it, wondering what might happen, rehearsing the “if onlys” and “what ifs” in our mind. Why not take the same energy and refocus it on prayer instead? When we worry, we are simply talking to ourselves about our fears, but when we pray, we are taking those fears to God. We can’t control the future, but as Anne Graham Lotz said throughout her book Fear Not Tomorrow, God Is Already There, our timeless God owns the future. He knows exactly what is going to happen, and He promises to be with us every step of the journey. As we are nearing a close to this season of prayer and fasting, let’s heed Paul’s words to “let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers.” Then the peace of God will guard your heart. “Growing an unshakable trust in God as you face your tomorrows is not about self-improvement or mastering your circumstances, but about God–who He is, what He does, and how we can trust Him.”Anne Graham Lotz “We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”Oswald Chambers Bible Reading Plan: Luke 13 Prayer Focus: What consistently causes you to worry? Today, recapture each worried thought and send it to God as a prayer. See how dramatically your outlook improves when the peace of God is activated through prayer! This excerpt was taken from “Awakening: A new approach to faith, fasting, and spiritual freedom. 21 days to revolutionize your relationship with God.” by Stovall Weems.  It can be purchased on Amazon.
