"Wow what a great siege volume. So interesting to see how war functioned inside and around castles/forts. Unbelievably brutal and terrifying to see how much death was inevitable with traps and other weapons like boiling oil/tar.

"First two beach chapters were super good, fun and sexy. The last chapters of Elfuda’s curse from the dream eater was lack luster imo and sorta caused me to be bored and not interested in that arc. It’s cool to see the recipes and characters go into d"

"I am so happy to have finally caught up with the manga now, I own all 28 volumes physically. I started watching the anime as something light and fun but fell in love with the Slime universe. I'm going to have a little break and read some other stuff "

| I read several "gal" manga and this one at the moment is definitely my favorite. I love the amount of information the author presents about Hokkaido and its unique culture. Plus the story is a banger as well lol. There are so many ways this story can ...more | |

Found a nice stack of books today at the local used bookstore. Always enjoy walking in there with the anticipation of finding something great to take home with me.
So for the past few days I have been adding all my fiction books to Goodreads. Seriously cutting into my reading time here lol. Still have several shelves to go. Not sure if I will catalog the rest of my books or not after that. Hmmm
Seems I have spent the first half of the year reading mostly classics, well at least half of them LOL. I think it is now time to unwind with some sword and sorcery, and maybe more historical works to round out the years reading.
So many books to read on the "Classics" battlefront lol, yet one can't read just them all day long. Been enjoying the month of SF/Fantasy classic reads to break the seriousness one normally has with classics. Bunch of history books in progress as well I just wonder when I will make progress on them with the weather warming up and all.
