Neal Ritter is a retired clinical psychologist whose career informs his writing. He held clinical management positions in community mental health centers, a professional school, a brain injury rehabilitation facility, chronic pain clinics, and a rehabilitation hospital. He also maintained a private practice, during which he was qualified as an expert witness in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in seven states. Throughout his career, he taught, trained, and supervised many mental health professionals.
