Micah Issitt was born in Kansas, grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and now lives in Philadelphia, near a gas station.

Issitt plays guitar and sings, he makes things and he writes. Since 2004, Issitt has been working as a freelance writer/researcher.

Issitt works with academic publishers, libraries and research institutions to create easy to read articles and books translating complex issues for a general audience. The primary goal is to aid students, researchers and general readers to understand complex issues and to inspire them to pursue further research and reading.
