Last day of the free promotion. It’s gone better than I could have expected. The Imposed Path hit number 1 in several categories during it, and is in nearly 2000 people’s hands. Hope people will enjoy it, so far I’ve gotten positive feedback.

The Imposed Path is currently free on Amazon Ebook format. Grab it while you can, and hope everyone will enjoy the beginning of this series.

Tomorrow is the official release of The Imposed Path.

So just got a “professional review” completed. Had issues as I feel they didn’t really read it. Would have still posted it, except they put it as a YA novel.

Need to be very clear. This book and series is for adults, 18+. While there may be some mature 16-17 year olds, I’d want their parents to read it first. Have parental consent to them reading.

There is graphic violence, sensitive adult topics, adult language, and various traumas. There is a warning at the beginning of the book. These traumas only get more intense as the series continues. Topics not for anyone under 18.

So please don’t let your kids read this. If you have a mature teenager, I highly encourage the parent reads it first. If the first book is too much of a trigger, the rest of the series will definitely be.

I am getting excited for the release of The Imposed Path. About 10 days away. I have a bunch of marketing setup, most revolving around the free days from 3-5 June on Amazon. My first award submission I’ll see if it places in mid-June.

I have put in the order for the second books artwork. I’m using Miblart again, because they did an awesome job on the first cover. I have also reached out to my editor, and let her know it’s ready for her professional look.

The third book is drafted, and I started doing my personal edits. It’ll probably be ready for my editor shortly after she is done with the second.

4th book is just starting its rough draft. Shouldn’t be hard to get through. I know the characters so well it writes seamlessly. The third was originally supposed to have the 4th books ending. But things changed, and the antagonist in the third was too good. It ended up being a little bigger than the first book, and was only half way through that part of the story. So I decided to split the third into two books.

I originally thought my short story would convert to one novel. Then I thought it would be five. But now I’m looking at seven, but have the ability to extend it a little if fans would want it. I’ll get into that before starting the planned last novel.

Hey, for my followers here is my pricing plan for The Imposed Path. The first month I plan on basically giving it away. Prices are set as low as I can on Amazon and B&N, for the physical copies. All of June the Ebook on Amazon will be $0.99. After June it’ll go up to its normal price of $4.99. So it’s running at 80% off for June. Once my KDP Select term is up in September, I’ll probably do another price drop when it goes to all the other sites supported through Draft2Digital.
