In honor of Black History Month, this is the perfect time to support a project that reimagines Harriet Tubman’s powerful legacy in a whole new way. 📚✨
In Harriet’s Escape, Harriet is not just a historical figure; she’s a fierce heroine in a world of shapeshifting dragons, Birdfolk, and magical creatures. This exciting historical fantasy brings Harriet’s story to life, blending real history with thrilling fantasy. The campaign aims to fund the production of the audiobook, as well as donate copies to schools, libraries, and community centers to ensure this important story reaches future generations.

The Gift of Second Chances: A Valentine's Romance
is a novel about a seasoned married couple's efforts to find their way back to each other after a short-lived, but still very painful, affair. The story is not about the hero's affair but the couple's love for family and their growth as individuals and as a couple.
In the novel, Sean and Angie decide the best way to learn how to heal from Sean's affair and to strengthen their marriage, is to begin marriage counseling. Their therapist poses several questions, during their initial session.
I would like to include select responses to the questions, from real-life people, in the book, which will release on Valentine's Day. This form does not ask for or collect names. All responses will be anonymous. So, be as open and honest as you like. Not all questions will apply to you--some are intended for the cheated-on partner, while others for the cheater.
There is no shame or blame here, only a gathering of information that may help someone who reads your response. And, personal reflection, especially on the eve of a New Year, can do wonders for the soul.

Animated Book Covers
Although animated book covers are not new, my jump onto the bandwagon is late. Well, recently, I've joined a long list of authors who've taken the plunge into this visual feast for readers. Facebook is great for learning and seeing what other authors are about, as well as connecting with amazing talents.
One of those amazing talents is Mandi Murphy of Wren Taylor Designs. She posted a great animation she'd created for Tina Glasneck's A Dragon's Destiny. After seeing a few more of her FB postings, I was sold.
What makes this artistic talent a wonder to work with, besides her quality products, is her kind and open nature. I not only want to share the animations Mandi created for my newest novel, Stones of Dracontias: The Bloodstone Dragon, but to highlight a creative perfectionist.

Of Deception and Divinity Release Day
Finally, the wait is over. The third book in my Death and Destiny paranormal romance trilogy is finally here. Of Deception and Divinity: A Paranormal Romance concludes the epic story of Sanura and Assefa. For those of you who've joined me on the journey of magic, mystery, and love, thank you. This has been an awesome and rewarding series to write. But it's not quite over. Stay tuned for the Beastly Magic series in 2018.
