It's the End of the World...

...as we know it! Given the current state, I have evolved into a very political person! There was a time where I would just have been annoyed by policy, but given the outrage around the nation I can't help but join the rallying cry! He talked a good talk; said what the working class wanted to hear! It was all too good to be true! No one wanted to disagree with him because his promises were so well played! But he never spelled out his plans, remember? You can tell me to get over it like you did with Obama, but this isn't some silly contest or even a major Super Bowl! We are talking about the most powerful leader in the "free" world willing to oppress religion, education, and the media! Did we forget all we learned from 1984 and Brave New World? I guess a lot of children were left behind...

Frump and Satirist

I feel exceedingly proud of the work I have done recently and am much indebted to Dan Geddes for taking a chance! Thanks to all my supporters! I look forward to more publications and daily musings!

Thankful

I'm thankful for my hopes and dreams! Being an author is but a tiny yet redeeming aspect of my life! I recently pulled together some other local authors from the aforementioned Authors Expo at the Athol Library! Together under a heading of Authors Unite, we are attempting to put together an anthology for public consumption in the months ahead! Stay tuned!

Foremost a Comedy

When I set out to write my book, I was fifteen years old and was just having fun! When I decided to self publish I took that journal and set down to write it as a real send up of the genre! The tropes and cliches are in it for a reason! And I hope you enjoy it as such!

Local Author Meet

So for the second year in a row, the Athol Public Library has invited local authors to share their craft. I feel honored and privileged to be at the event! Dreams of writing started young for me. But knowing it would never prove financially sound, kept the dream deferred. Until I found myself out of work in the year 2007. I opened up a high school journal and started re-imagining a story I had written there. My first foray into chapter writing. It kept me occupied for days while I searched the web for a new job. Meanwhile I also did research into wills and law stuff to make my story more interesting, always knowing that it was more spoof than actual murder mystery! And thanks to iUniverse and the backing of my wife, I eventually had my own book. I continue to write these days: plays for the school I teach at, poems when the mood hits, and a comic series that if I were better at inking and lettering would maybe someday see the light of day. But of course, I dedicated myself to being a full-time dad and the reward of hugs and kisses and "best daddy in the whole wide world" speeches is what makes it all worth it!
