The series was actually written in the 90's--Destiny Awaits (book #3) was originally released in 1995. I've updated the books a bit and taken out the under-the-cover parts, but they are basically in their originally published forms. I honestly have no political agenda in my romance novels. My only goal is to write a fun story that entertains readers. The opinion of the president at the time belonged to the heroine of the story, who was, admittedly, pretty snarky in the beginning--but Tess Harper had a pretty snarky opinion about everyone and everything until she found love and purpose in the form of her new family. Bill Clinton was, in fact, the president at the time the Destiny Series was written. (less)
