I really can’t believe August is almost over. We just celebrated our family’s two August birthdays, so it’s official: summer is over.

Now, it’s back to school, Labor Day (which coincides with our County Fair), and a new look for an old favorite…that’s right: a new cover is coming for WEST COAST HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Third time’s the charm, right?After much debate, the eight authors in Sweet-to-Heat’s “Secret Baby” anthology, decided to make a few changes to better reach our target audience: you. We know how much readers love this trope, but our first two covers had issues: #1 = too much gorgeous skin (for Facebook’s ad censors) and #2 = too soft and pretty for the kind of grit and pain that comes from keeping secrets.
