Barbara Monajem liked an answer from Lois McMaster Bujold: I can't believe I'm asking this, but do you accept review/blurb requests from authors (who aren't with major publishing houses)? No, sorry. I've found it easier to refuse all blurb requests than to try to figure out how to triage them. For your consolation, major or minor makes no difference. Speaking only for myself as a book consumer, I've never bought a book due to a blurb i See Lois’s answer. Lois Bujold
