ISO Bloggers

I'm working with publicitst booklover catlady book publicity & reviews. Maxine is seeking US and Canadian bloggers that like to read Thriller novels for two upcoming book tours.
The Fifth to Die, by Jd Barker is the sequel to the bestselling first novel in the series, The Fourth Monkey.
JD and Dacre Stoker have a new book coming out in Oct, "Dracul". The novel has just been named one of publisher's weekly top ten books for fall 2018.

The USA version of "The Fifth to Die" comes out in July and the UK version in December. There will be two blog tours; the first in August, to coincide with the Facebook book launch, and the second in December. You can register for one or both blog tours. UK bloggers can sign up for the US tour as long as they use the US cover and US Amazon link. The same goes for US bloggers in December.
The form explains more and gives you the option to choose one tour or both. If interested, complete the form ASAP so details can be sent to the publisher (Publisher is fulfilling ARC requests).

Books can be sent to you NOW. Complete this online FORM.

Knee Deep in Little Devils - Second attempt

I'm helping out a great writers group, Write or Die, with their first anthology.
The stories and poems in this first anthology were all read during their first three Halloween reading events.
The event was started as a means to give emerging authors some experience reading in front of a live audience. The members of the group must write a themed story, three weeks before the event, that can be read in under 15 minutes. And five years later, they're still doing it!

If you haven't seen the event listing, please check it out:
https://www.goodreads.com/event/show/...

Their Kickstarter fundraiser ends on June 19, 2018.

Let's give them a hand and help them get the funding they need.
~Tia

The anthology contains stories by these authors: Tom Sweterlitsch, Michael Arnzen, Frank Oreto, Vincent Baverso, Joe Coluccio, Kevin M. Hayes, Katie Pupan, Karen Yun-Lutz, Larry Ivkovich, Douglas Gwilym, Jon Carroll Thomas, Brandon Ketchum and Diane Turnshek

Knee Deep in Little Devils

I have been helping publicize a Kickstarter for the Write or Die (WorD) writing and critique group.
They are publishing their very first anthology, "Knee Deep in Little Devils" and have plans to publish a second anthology next year.

What's so special about this group, I hear you ask? The writing group has been meeting since 1996 and still meets in-person, every other week at a bookstore. What better place to meet and help each other with their story and novel writing!

The group could use your help. They have very little time left to get their first anthology funded. They are hoping to reach a couple of their stretch goals as well, but that isn't going to happen without support and assistance from our writing community.

Besides the up-and-coming authors in their group, they have a couple notable authors on board, including Tom Sweterlitsch and Mike Arnzen from Many Genres, One Craft: Lessons in Writing Popular Fiction.

You can check out the Write or Die KICKSTARTER, enjoy a few short videos they made about their group and read about the story behind this first anthology.

Their future depends on you, dear reader. If you can help by funding as a backer on their Kickstarter or sharing Knee Deep in Little Devils posts, every little bit will help them achieve their goals. Remember when it was your big first?

Let's give these writers a hearty hurrah and help them get their small press publishing venture off the ground.

Excerpt From Hidden Design, the Prophecy

Excerpt: From Chapter Six:

The door to the bathroom flew open. Mikki's heart skipped a beat as Seth emerged, freshly washed and wearing only a pair of partially buttoned, faded blue jeans. She hadn't noticed the shower water stop running. He had a towel draped over his head and was drying his hair as he walked out into the hallway. "You have them, don't you?" He pulled the towel from his head and looked at her with a level gaze. Drops of water still dripped from a few errant strands of hair.
"Moi?"
"Yes, you."
Mikki grinned as she swung the keys back and forth that dangled from her first finger. "I could have easily left ten minutes ago, but as long as I'm here, I want some real answers. You owe me at least that much."
Mikki stood and watched Seth out of the corner of her eye as he finished dressing. She had to admit that this man did something to her and her curiosity overcame her desire to leave. She watched the muscles of his chest and stomach move and ripple as he swung a shirt around his back and pushed his arms down into the sleeves. She felt herself dampen at the thought of his body on top of hers, inside her, and his mouth everywhere on her. Damn it, she was still angry with him and felt betrayed by her own body and the fantasies she was creating around him.
Seth buttoned the front of his shirt, then stepped up close to her, backing her into the wall and pinning her there. He leaned his face close into hers, meeting her eye to eye. A few drops of water dripped from his hair and splashed onto her exposed cleavage. "Smell better now?"
Mikki tried to hide her gasp of surprise as the cool droplets coursed a slow trail down between her breasts. The warmth between her legs spread through her loins and up her body.
Seth's eyes darkened as he gazed deep into hers. She tried to avert her eyes, but found her gaze locked with his. She knew he understood her arousal and had found his own. Seth leaned in towards Mikki and she stretched to meet him. His lips brushed the tops of hers for a brief moment. "We shouldn't."
"Why?" Her hands sought his chest. She trailed her fingers up through the still damp patch of hair and back down to the waistband of his jeans.
A low groan rose from his throat as his lips brushed hers once again. "I can't." He turned his face from hers and placed his hands on the wall above her head bracing himself.
Mikki opened her eyes. "Wh-what?"
"I just can't. We have work to do. You're one of the children I've sworn to protect. I have to stay focused." He pushed himself back from her body.
"Do I look like a child to you?"
He looked down at her. "No, of course not. But you're getting all wet."
She felt the water droplets from his hair slide down her chest, hyper-aware of the wetness spreading between her legs and knowing he didn't have a clue. She averted her eyes from his, searching for a way to respond while trying to control her breathing.
Seth struggled with his own breathing. He pushed away from the wall and stepped back from her. "I don't know about you, but I'm really hungry. We should eat."
She straightened herself, brushing her hands down the front of her blouse and skirt. "What did you have in mind . . . uh, besides the obvious that I was just thinking about and . . . oh, crap. I should just shut-up now."
