So many reviewers have said that they wonder what comes next for No Lifeguard on Duty's characters. I'm happy to say that there is work in progress on the next book. Stay tuned to find out what becomes of Adam, Mollie, Howard, Muriel, Deuce and the rest of our friends.

No Lifeguard on Duty won The Best New Fiction - National Indie Excellence Award, along with NIEA's Finalist Award for Best Regional Fiction. That brings NLOD's indie awards tally to six, including two gold medals.

I had a nice homecoming, and No Lifeguard on Duty had a nice debut at the Asbury Book Co-op on Saturday. I enjoyed talking about how the book came to be and meeting some very nice people.

The ABC is doing a great job making sure that Asbury Park has a place for people to find great books. The staff is helpful, friendly and almost all volunteers. First class. A great community hub.
Make sure to visit when you need a break from the heat on the beach or when strolling on Cookman Avenue.
