Horror Tree interview about my novella ROGUE HUNTER
The Horror Tree is a resource for writers, offering submission information on all the latest horror anthologies and publishers, plus articles, news and interviews. The Horror Tree has posted an interview with me about my historical-western-horror novella, Rogue Hunter , which Severed Press released last month.
In part, interviewer Robyn O'Sullivan writes:
"This beautiful ‘coming of age’ tale is both gripping and poignant. In the midst of an incredibly gory and visceral story, Sheldon effortlessly inserts pockets of the sublime..."

My novella ROGUE HUNTER is available as an audiobook
My latest novella, Rogue Hunter (Severed Press), is out now in audiobook format, as well as in e-book and paperback!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HLPQF7C7
The back-cover blurb:
A rogue monster. An orphaned child. One hellish journey into the bush.
“While dinosaur attacks might seem fantastic to the reader in our present day, my story comes from a vastly different era before Australia’s Federation; a wild, raw, and dangerous era. I’ll wager you’ve only seen captive-bred dinosaurs in a circus or at the zoo.”
This is the memoir of Edwin Callaghan. In Colonial Australia, 1889, a dinosaur turned man-eater preys upon the people of Smithy’s Creek. Famed lizard hunter, Jim Vandebus, is hired to kill the beast. Haunted by his mother’s violent death, Callaghan wants vengeance and insists on joining the hunting party. What follows is a brutal showdown with the largest and most ferocious dinosaur Australia has ever known.
From award-winning author, Deborah Sheldon, Rogue Hunter is a thrilling tale that pits human resilience against the force of nature’s savagery.
