Once upon a time, the Sun and Moon were great friends. There was no night because they were always together. Children played the whole day, without feeling sleepy. No one in the world knew anything about beds or sleeping. One day, as they flew together, they saw the Ocean. She was the most beautiful thing that they have ever seen. The Ocean enjoyed the Sun’s warmth, and Moon’s decorated face. She

Francis Bacon
“Read not to contradict and confute; nor to believe and take for granted; nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider. Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.”

Paul Servini What is it you teach? I'm also a teacher. I teach English to adults. I enjoy it a lot.

If you're interested, you can see another piece of my writing here: http://writersnoteobook.blogspot.com/...

I'm off for a long weekend now, to the town of Orange in the South of France. I hope you also have a good weekend.

Paul Servini There's a blog site call 3 Word Wednesday that publishes every Wednesday 3 words that budding writers can try their hand with. Anyone who wants can write something on their blog and leave the link at the site. Then others, too, can read it.

Do you write? What is your first language? Is it Takalog? I see your books are listed in English. My first language is English but I also speak and read in French and German.

Have a good day. Paul

Paul Servini Jacq wrote: "thanks for the add. yeah, i am currently reading Vanity Fair, although it's taking me forever to finish. have you read it?"

Hi, yes I have read Vanity Fair. It was a long time ago and it also took me ages to read. But why it caught my eye yesterday, was that I'd just written a fictional piece on my blog entitled The Making Of Vanity Fair for a writing meme I often do. We had to write a piece using the words, Vanity, Incubate and Nightmare. If you want to see what I came up with you can read it here: http://writersnoteobook.blogspot.com/...
