John Knowles

An accomplished ghostwriter, Chris Hammer was born in Queens, NY and started writing at the age of eight when she wrote a short story about a donkey. The dye was pretty well cast from there.
Currently working on the fourth installment in her Dysorganized Crime Series, Chris Hammer's love of writing is exceeded only by her love of animals. She uses her celebrity to speak for those who have no voice and in 2010 founded Irving House Animal Sanctuary to care for special-needs and senior animals. She shares her home with a menagerie of furry and feathered family on LI's East End.
