Hi, I am Chris Dewar the author of The Dyrne Hill
Series of books. I was born in Weybridge, Surrey
into a very large and extended family and spent
most of my childhood roaming wild on my bike,
building camps whenever and wherever I could, or
making up stories of mysteries, treasure and ghosts for my siblings and cousins to enjoy. As a young adult I travelled but finally settled in Hampshire with my husband and three children.
If you love adventure, historical mystery fiction and folklore with a touch of the supernatural then this is a great book for you. 10+

National Year of Reading

Hello everyone,
I set out with a plan back in January to support the National Year of Reading, just not realising how involved I would become.
The time spent contacting Librarians and Teachers, becoming a Patron of Reading, supporting fund raisers, taking part in podcasts, free goodies/contributions has been incredible.
On top of that I have been working full time (accounts) and completed my second Read more of this blog post »
