Last August, Victoria Lowery, author of the inspiring young adult novel Polly Parker Meets Her Shadow, visited the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library in Tiffin, Ohio, to help young people create powerful, meaningful visions for their futures.

The well-attended event saw Victoria helping participants create “vision boards” using images, words, and affirmations to plan and realize fulfilling, joyful school years–and lives. Victoria was delighted to meet and guide enthusiastic young people. “Vision boards are powerful tools to enhance focus and motivation, and to manifest your deepest desires,” she said. “Knowing how energy flows where attention goes, I wanted the kids to have the school experience they desired by planning for it.”
