Savannah, it's in Georgia
The book tour has been rolling for a week now. I started off in the quaint town of Grand Coteau, Louisiana. Casa Azul Gifts hosted me there and I read with author Jane Blunschi. The owners of Casa Azul were so incredibly nice, I kept wondering if they were robots. Jane was really funny. I'm glad I went on first.
Next up, I read at Hey! Cafe in New Orleans. We could not convince the drunk dudes smoking on the basketball court to come in and hear me. I did however have an impromptu audience of Tulane poetry students who may have been creeped out by the Cabeza sex scenes.
Just got into Savannah today and grabbed a black bean burger at The Distillery. Linda Sickler wrote an article about my reading tomorrow at the Sentient Bean. Newyorkisboring.com also mentioned the event. Thanks Savannah!
