I write zines and novels that have a unique mix of fantasy, humor and nihilism. I have participated in the National Novel Writing Month (50 thousand words in 30 days) since 2008 and have finished every year. I like to write books that I would actually want to read and my first rule: don't bore the reader.
My latest finished work is called the Times of Clouds and Sun which can be accessed via my Patreon.

Lived a brave little Hobbit whom we all admire…

I’m certainly familiar with the quest…Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit. I saw at least 2 thirds of the Lord of The Rings trilogy, the Two Towers and the third one. I am aware that it captures the imagination at a young age…people love t Read more of this blog post »

"In certain crowds, my rating and the words I'm about to write (well, type) would probably get me shot. But The Hobbit is still one of the most boring books I have ever read. Tolkien's writing seems so dry and impersonal, though I can't deny he had a " Read more of this review »

"Super compelling first-hand retelling of Trump’s New York trials that reads like a dishy play-by-play. The courtroom and the major players loom large, but the story has tons of micro and macro details that help ground and contextualize the whole thin" Read more of this review »

“The other night I lost consciousness. When I finally came to, it was morning. I spent the next 8 and a half hours doing things I didn’t really feel like doing, but was compelled to do anyway. (Evidentially I receive something known as “financial Compensation” for this.) Eventually I was allowed to return home, where I recovered from the ordeal. I’m just afraid of what happens tonight, if I lose consciousness again. I have this fear that somehow this will start the process all over again.”

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”
Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”
George Orwell, 1984
