April 19, 1974


Stefano Turconi is an Italian comics artist, born in Castellanza, Italy in 1974.
Turconi studied at the Art Accademy of Brera, the Art School of Castello Sforzesco in Milan, and eventually at the Disney Accademy as a pupil of artist Alessandro Barbucci.
Since the late 90's Turconi has illustrated comics for the Disney weekly digest Topolino, as well as other Italian Disney comics magazines.
Starting from 2004, Turconi has been involved in an artistic partnership with his wife, comics writer Teresa Radice. Since 2013 Radice and Turconi have published a number of graphic novels, which have received praises in Italy and France.
