I’m currently on a project with a firm delivery date.
No wiggle room. No “we’ll negotiate timeline later.”
And when I joined, the project had already burned through its buffer early.
Then performance issues started showing up.
At that point you have two options:
1. Protect the process.
2. Protect the deadline.
We had two load tests scheduled at each level before increasing capacity.
