I never considered myself to be an avid reader, but I enjoy reading as one of my leisure pursuits. I don't confine nor limit myself to one specific category of books. I actually read a wide variety of genres from poetry to nonfiction, mysteries to sci-fi, memoirs to historical pieces, and other interesting fictional storylines. It's like taking multiple trips on adventures around the globe whether fictional or nonfictional and being introduced to new people and cultures, learning a new word, discovering a new geographical location, lessons from the past, or a different species.
